Madonna and Lady Gaga feud may be reignited

Madonna and Lady Gaga feud may be reignited. More rows between Material Girl, Madonna and “Poker Face” singer Lady Gaga may be back on with fans of the 80’s queen of pop insinuating Gaga is trying to style herself around the stars own image of the 80’s.

With the Oscars less than 2 months away, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (AKA) Lady Gaga is doing her prep work with the media with her film “A Star Is Born” up for several nominations. When addressing her film role, Gaga is repeating the same quote, time and time again “There can be 100 people in a room and 99 of them don’t believe in you, but all it takes is one and it just changes your whole life,” this is in reference to her co-star in the movie, Bradley Cooper.

However, 60-year old Madge and her fans don’t seem to be amused and have taken to social media to express their annoyance that Lady Gaga is mimicking Madonna’s catchphrase that she coined in an interview recorded back in the 80’s.

Adding fuel to the fire, a video has been uploaded to the Instagram story of creative director of Vogue Italia, Giovanni Bianco with a comment caption “My girl does and says everything always first.”

Yesterday, Madonna Louise Ciccone (AKA) Madonna took to Instagram to post a throwback video from the ’80s and in the video, Madonna can be heard saying, “If there are 100 people in a room and 99 say they liked it, I only remember the one person who didn’t.” She then went on to reposted the old video without any caption, just adding in an emoji of enlarged eyes.

She then posted an image of herself with the caption “Don’t F–k with Me Monday,” which has now ignited a war of words between Madonna fans versus Lady Gaga followers.

Both Lady Gaga and Madonna have not directly addressed the speculation of the feud yet but  it won’t be the first time the pair have had open altercation. Back in 2012, Lady Gaga was accused of stealing Madonna’s song, “Express Yourself,” where similarities can be found between Gaga’s “Born This Way” and the Madonna hit.

Madge went public to say, “I certainly think Lady Gaga references me a lot in her work. When I heard her song ‘Born This Way’ on the radio, I said, ‘That sounds very familiar,’”

Four years on just as people as things were settling down between the pair, Lady Gaga said in an interview in 2016, “Madonna and I are very different. I play a lot of instruments. I write all my own music. I spend hours a day in the studio. I’m a producer. I’m a writer. What I do is different.”
