Mixed fortunes for Victoria Beckham fashion label. Fashion designer, Victoria Beckham’s fashion label “Victoria Beckham” has suffered financial losses of over €11.5 million for 2017, but it’s not all bad news for the UK designer who has seen sales of her brand products increase to €47.3 million for 2017 that is up €6.8 million on 2016 which recorded sales to €40.5 million on the previous year.

The ex-Spice Girl who started her luxury fashion label back in 2008 is one of the world leading fashion brands of today with sales projected to increase further for 2018.

The 44-year old singer, come fashion designer has an extensive fashion line-up that includes fashion clothing and accessories as well as her eye-wear collection.

Her husband and ex-Manchester united soccer star, David Beckham borrowed Victoria’s fashion company the sum of €9.4 million back in 2016 as a loan to his wife and this is still an outstanding debt due back to David’s own company DB Ventures.

These losses are not uncommon in the fashion industry and the investment from her husband has allowed Victoria to expand her brand range which is seen as a sound investment by shareholders with the company using the money and initiative to expand their sales distribution network and on-line presence.

2018 was the year in which Victoria Beckham celebrated 10 years in business and saw her participate in London Fashion Week back in September with her put on her first show for the London outfit.

She has also had success with collaboration with cosmetic company ‘Estee Lauder’ as well as her “Limited edition” fashion line with American retailer, “Target”.

The Victoria Beckham brand is now available in over 50 countries worldwide and her products are now stocked by over 400 retailers. Industry insiders are predicting big things for the VB brand in 2019 as they believe she has all the ground work done to increase her brand share globally.
