In the aftermath of London, New York and Paris fashion weeks, it’s time for sexy Irish farmers to take centre stage as they strip off in the name of charity. Yes, Irish male farming hunks from across Ireland have stripped off in aid of this year’s 2019 Bothar charity calendar.

Now in its 10th year, the raunchy annual calendar is being hailed as a celebration of Irish agriculture with funds raised going to help farming charity, Bothar which provides essential farming materials and training for people in developing countries.

The 2019 calendar has been jokingly branded ‘agri-porn’ by Irish radio presenter and The Late Late Show host, Ryan Tubridy. The 2019 calendar features hunky male models from Mayo, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary. There’s a different hunk for every month of the year with each farming model posing for photos with a variety of farm equipment and animals that you would naturally see down on the farm.

This is expected to be a massive hit with the ladies of Ireland as sales of the new Bothar calendar are estimated to “outstrip” sales in Ireland of similar calendars from celebrities like Shawn Medes and Justin Bieber.

Creator of the calendar, Ciara Ryan said: “The farmers do it because a lot of them live in rural areas where there are not a lot of opportunities to meet women. There are a few guys who’ve done it more than once. They come back and try and get in it another year. The farmers are picked if they’ve got charisma and a bit of character in their face, that kind of thing. It’s great craic and they do get a lot of attention with it.”

The sexy Irish hunks pose with lambs, a chicken, a pig and goats which each farmer showing off their natural physique that will certainly appeal to an international audience. The upside is that it’s all in aid of charity.
