On their own, the taupes, beiges and chocolate shades may seem boring, but they are so versatile that you can create a whole load of subtle eye looks and dramatic smoky eye ones.
Think of a nude eyeshadow palette like the foundation of a good eyeshadow collection. So much so, it’s not surprising that nearly every makeup company has their own version of a nude eyeshadow palette.
The downside to this is how much time you’ll spend swatching until you find the right one for you.

L.A. Girl Nude Beauty Brick Eye Shadow Palette €7.95
From classic neutrals to mocha browns to dusty pinks to plum shades, this palette has all the shadows you need to fit any occasion or mood. All the shadows are easy to blend and have minimal fall out. They are incredibly pigmented and last all day.
Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette €14.99
You can create so many neutral or dramatic eye looks with this palette. The shades all blend out beautifully and last all day without flaking or fading. You can use the shimmer shades dry for a more subtle look or wet for something with a bit more drama.
wet n wild Nude Awakening Color Icon Palette €6.00
These buttery-soft shades are ideal for creating a number of looks. They are insanely pigmented and glide onto your skin effortlessly. The colours all compliment each other and last all day with minimal fall out or fading. For a better colour payoff with the shimmer shades, apply using your finger.
L’Oreal Paris Nude Beige Color Riche Eyeshadow Palette €18.99
The shades were carefully chosen by L’Oreal’s makeup artists to help you create a number of sophisticated and glamourous looks. The darker shades are perfect for create a sultry looking smoky eye while the lighter shades are great for any daytime look. The shades are all very pigmented so you don’t need to use a lot to get a great colour payoff. They are all easy to blend and, although you do get a brush with this palette, I find it better to stick to using my own makeup brushes when using this palette.
ZOEVA En Taupe Palette €21.75
This is the perfect cool toned purple based palette. The quality of this palette is very high and all the shades are very easy to blend. There is some fall out with the shimmery shades but if you apply the shades with your finger or a wet brush, you shouldn’t have much of a problem.
