How to Make Green Eyes Stand Out

How To Make Green Eyes Stand Out. The range of green eyes is pretty much endless. With varying degrees of golden and rooty brown undertones, each pair is totally unique and equally mesmerising.

However, just like with any eye colour, there’s some colours that work better than others to make green eyes stand out.

I’ve put together some of them so have a read below if you’re looking some seriously spellbinding eyes.

Purple Eyeshadow

Morphe 35P Purple Palette €26.00

If you have green eyes, be sure to load up on purple eyeshadow. It’s a great colour to contrast with your natural eye colour and the Morphe 35P palette have loads of purple and plum shades to make your green eyes pop.

Grey Eyeshadow

Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Stormy Eyeshadow Palette €33.00

Smoky grey tones look incredible with green eyes. The Silver Spoon shade from the Nightingale Eyeshadow palette is a great deep grey satin and is the perfect colour if you’re looking to shake things up from your regular black smoky eye. All the other shades in the palette work well with green eyes too.

Antique Gold Eyeshadow

Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow in Sunlight €28.95

Since many green eyes have flecks of gold in them, using a gold shadow will brighten and bring out those hues for a very flattering eye look. A single dab of Bobbi Brown’s Sunlight eyeshadow will instantly give your eye makeup some serious sparkle.

Eyeliners

Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner in Intense Smoky Quartz €19.00

Brown eyeliner can soften any eye look, making it perfect for when you want your eyes to subtly stand out. Stila eyeliners are a firm favourite in the beauty world. They are long lasting and don’t pull or tug at your eyelids.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner €17.95

Ok, before you say ‘duh’ at my black liquid liner suggestion, hear me out. While black liner looks great no matter what eye colour you have, it works wonders on green eyes for creating an alluring makeup look. Try black liner defined on the top lid into a bit of a wing for a Sophia Loren look.
