Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are world top world influencers. When it comes to promoting your brand and you need to put forward a celebrity to be seen endorsing and promoting your product, then there is no better celebrities than sisters, Kim Kardashian West and Kylie Jenner.
According to the new Lyst’s year in fashion report which ranks the fashion trends, influencers, designers and products of the year, Kardashian and Jenner out-strip even royal favourite, Meghan Markle and singer, Ariana Grande.
In their report, the global search platform monitored the social media spikes and mentions generated by 50 celebrities and how these related to product searches and sales.
Topping their list was Kylie Jenner, who drove over two million searches from consumers who viewed her Dior sunglasses, Adidas tracksuits and Alexander Wang mini-dresses endorsed lines.
To give you an idea of her influential pulling power, the dress that Kylie wore to her 21st birthday party saw searches for “pink dresses” increase by 107% in the 48 hours that followed.
Coming up in second is her half-sister, Kim Kardashian West who earlier this year received the CFDA’s first ever Influencer Award which was down to her ability to drive trends such as cycling shorts, neon pieces and retro logos. This can be traced back to her wardrobe which included Fendi in particular, who have seen a 16% month-on-month boost in searches since Kim posted a picture of herself wearing its Zucca monogram head-to-toe.
Placed at number three in the charts is royal favourite, The Duchess of Sussex, AKA Meghan Markle. According to the Lyst report, any brand associated with the royal can expect to see on average a 200% increase in search demand on the internet if Meghan has worn their fashion products.
The terms “boat neck” and “tuxedo dress”, have become synonymous with Meghan’s style and have also become popular search terms with online shoppers. Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are world top world influencers.
