Irina Shayk is the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. Russian supermodel, Irina Shayk has been named as the new face of Marc Jacobs beauty collection.

Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova (AKA) Irina Shayk will start the new year of 2019 as the face of the American designer’s beauty range. The 32 year old model is set to make her debut with a new campaign for MJ that launches in January 2019 with shots for the campaign carried out by the experienced British fashion photographer, David Sims,

Irina and her partner, actor Bradley Cooper, share a daughter Lea De Seine. Shayk together, first received international recognition back in 2007 when she became face of lingerie brand, Intimissimi.

In a statement released by the Russia beauty about her new appointment, Irina said: “I’ve loved and admired Marc for his wonderful fashions and overarching vision of beauty. It’s such an honour to represent Marc Jacobs Beauty in my home country.”

Speaking about why Irina was chosen to represent the luxury beauty brand, “Marc Jacobs Beauty” Vice President of marketing, Tara Loftis of Kendo Brands who are responsible for creating the make-up line with Marc Jacobs said: “When we entered Russia earlier in the year, we knew we wanted to have someone who inherently matched the beauty and strength of the region. Irina was a natural choice, and we’re thrilled to add her to the group of impressive women who have represented Marc Jacobs Beauty.”

Irina Shayk is set to jet into Sephora in Moscow in January 2019 to launch the campaign.
