Emma Stone partners with Sam Mendes for Louis Vuitton film

Emma Stone partners with Sam Mendes for Louis Vuitton film. Louis Vuitton have extended Emma Stone’s ambassador role into beauty with the launch of their ninth fragrance, Attrape-Rêves, and the first to be accompanied by a short film.

Directed by Sam Mendes, the film sees Emma in a variety of dreamy locations, from sunny hilltops, empty theatres, fairground carousels, beaches at sunset and on the open road with LV luggage – perfectly encapsulating the fragrances MO: inspire wanderlust and celebrate journeys.

Meaning ‘dream catcher’ in French, Attrape-Rêves was created by Louis Vuitton’s master perfumer, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.

On why they chose Stone for the campaign, the brand said that she embodies ‘the perfume and its multi-faceted personality.’

This is Stone’s second time working with Mendes, the pair having first worked together in 2014 on Broadway. Emma portrayed Sally Bowles in the third Broadway revival of ‘Cabaret’, with Sam reprising his role as director, from the previous revival of the musical in 1998.

Stone, whose Netflix show ‘Maniac’ premieres this month, was unveiled as Louis Vuitton’s new ambassador last October, and her first print ad for the brand debuted this past spring.

She joins other LV ambassadors who have appeared in ads for the brand such as Jennifer Connelly and Michelle Williams.
