Cara Delevingne breaks dress code at royal wedding

Cara Delevingne breaks dress code at royal wedding. Cara Delevingne looked effortlessly cool at Princess Eugenie’s wedding on Friday.

The model and actress braved the wind at Windsor Castle as she rocked a full suit, complete with jacket, tie and top hat.

Her choice of dress did break protocol for the ceremony. As Vanity Fair noted in September, the dress code was very strict. Ladies were asked to wear a day dress with hat and men were to wear a morning coat.

The model did not chose to wear a day dress, but with such style, who was going to stop her?

Delevingne has been friends with Eugenie for years. They were spotted together at a London Fashion Week party in 2015, and the model was also at Eugenie’s birthday that year.

Delevingne was far from the only celebrity in attendance: her sister Poppy was also there, as well as Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Robbie Williams, Ellie Goulding, Stephen Fry, Ricky Martin, Jimmy Carr.

The wedding was not without a touch of Hollywood glamour, as actress Liv Tyler was a guest, along with Demi Moore, who was joined by American florist Eric Buterbaugh.

Elsewhere, artist Tracey Emin, ‘Made In Chelsea’ star Oliver Proudlock and his fiancée Emma Louise Connolly, and Sam Branson – the son of Virgin founder Richard Branson – all appeared at the ceremony, too.
