The couple announced their happy news with a sweet Instagram post this week.

Taking to social media on Valentine’s Day, the Munster rugby star shared a picture of his wife on his lap surrounded by their two King Charles dogs.

The star wrote: “On this Valentine’s Day there is no better time to say, our hearts have been stirred… for this child we‘ve prayed & our prayers have been heard…with gratitude & excitement we can say there is a Stander baby on the way! ❤️#werepregnant #StanderBaby”

CJ has been playing for Munster since 2012 and married Jean-Marie in 2013.

Jean-Marie shared the same post, with friends, family and fans sharing their congratulations with the pair.
