Anne Hathaway reveals plans for Princess Diaries 3. It’s one of the most popular films of the early noughties and now Anne Hathaway has revealed that she is working on a third Princess Diaries film and she wants it to be ‘perfect’.
She said that both she and Julie Andrews want to make a Princess Diaries 3 and there’s even a script.

Speaking on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, she said: “There is a script for the third movie. I want to do it, Julie (Andrews) wants to do it, Debra Martin Chase, our producer, wants to do it.”

“We all really want it to happen, it’s just we don’t want to do it unless it’s perfect, because we love it just as much as you guys love it.

“It’s (as) important to us as it is to you, and we don’t want to deliver anything unless it’s ready. But we’re working on it.”

This isn’t the first time the third installment has been talked about as in 2016, Julie Andrews spoke about how the potentila film could honour the original director Garry Marshall.

Speaking to Buzzfeed after Marshall passed away, Julie said: “There’s talk about it. And [Hathaway]’s very keen to do it. I would very willingly and happily do it.

“I think we might do it in honor of him. Annie had an idea that she wanted to pursue about it, and I’m all for it, so if she’d like to… well, we would love to see Mia return to the big screen!’
